Princess Laila of Egypt has always been admired, for her beauty as well as her power, but when rebellion erupts across the kingdom, she is forced into a marriage of alliance. Laila is forced into a marriage with one of three warlords, Amunet, Khepri, or Seti. 

All of these warlords are seeking vengeance against her family. Sent as a bride and assassin, Laila must try to navigate seduction, betrayal, and war. She is caught between being loyal and following her duty to her father and her own survival.
