Bride for the Quarterback

Mia Scott is a single mother doing everything possible to take care of her son, William, who desperately requires expensive heart surgery that she can not afford. Then Jared Morgan walks into her life, her high school crush who is now an NFL quarterback. He offers a deal: a fake engagement to keep the press off his back, and in return, he will pay for her son’s surgery.  

It should be a simple transaction, but it does not play out that way. Jared is not such a reckless, out-of-control quarterback as the press seems to make him. He is caring, considerate, and vulnerable. Then there is Luke Matthews, Jared’s teammate and loyal friend, who always liked Mia. Now he is a presence in her chaotic life, and he offers something different to Jared: safety, consistency, and understanding. 

Mia is now caught between two men, and she must make a decision. The clock is ticking on her son’s surgery as well as the contract that started it all.
